Individually, the AMD Ryzen 7 5700G, which costs 320 euros, is not yet officially on the market, but is already installed in some complete computers. c’t editor Christian Hirsch was therefore able to test the processor with Zen 3 architecture. The integrated graphics unit of the 5700G is completely sufficient for games such as Dota 2 or Counter Strike and cuts a fine figure in office PCs – and thanks to eight cores is perfectly suitable for rendering tasks. A candidate for the next optimal PC of the c’t?

The latest Sonos loudspeaker in the IKEA Symfonisk series is built into a 6 cm thick picture frame. It is a further attempt to marry different demands on the smart home: On the one hand, devices should fit in stylishly and inconspicuously in the rest of the apartment, on the other hand they should still sound good and connect to streaming services via WiFi.
