Chipmaker company caught a wave of technological trends that increased its revenue and profit growth. The total market capitalization of the company is equal to 140.571B.

Advanced Micro Devices gets almost all of its revenue from the computing and graphics segment, primarily selling Ryzen central processing units (CPUs) and Radeon graphics processing units (GPUs). Revenue is entirely dependent on the digital industry and computer market.

Advanced Micro Devices revenue for the second quarter increased by 65% which amounted to $2.25 billion in total. The company noticed a strong demand for ninth-generation Ryzen processors along with the new Ryzen 5000 series notebook processors. Although intel dominates the digital market, it has been losing ground to AMD since the introduction of the Ryzen series processors.
