AMD Ryzen – This is what the future LGA1718 socket of the upcoming AMD RYZEN ZEN 4 processors will look like – Byron Review
As we know, for the next generation of RYZEN Raphal processors in ZEN 4 architecture, the red ones will completely check the CPU retention system on the motherboard. In fact, AMD will switch to an LGA 1718 socket, similar to the sockets that we already know from Intel processors. This morning we have the right to a first 3D rendering of the socket that will be integrated into the next motherboards using 600 series chipsets ./>
Once again it is EXECUFIX that offers us this 3D rendering of the future AM5 socket.
As you can see, we are very close to an S115x socket. We will certainly have more details about the base and the associated mainboards in the future, but keep in mind that ZEN 4 will not arrive in our PCs before 2022.
