xbox Series X – Assassin’s Creed Valhalla – When Does Sigrblot Festival End?
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players can partake in the Sigrblot Festival for unique rewards, but they should hurry, as this event won’t last forever.
Yet another festival has come to Ravensthorpe, and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players have some truly unique rewards to win from it this time. Whereas most festivals in the past have offered new tattoo schemes, settlement decorations, and a new armor set, this one is introducing an entirely new weapon type. The Sigrblot Festival, or “Victory Sacrifice Festival” celebrates the beginning of summer, and it takes the form of a timed event for Valhalla players. There’s a lot to do in the festival, and players are going to want to leave themselves with enough time to get it all done.
Just like every Assassin’s Creed Valhalla festival before it, the Sigrblot festival will eventually pass. When this happens, all of the unique event rewards will no longer be obtainable, at least not until a potential return of the festival in the next year. This means that it is in the best interest of players to collect as many of the rewards from it as soon as possible, or at the very least, before the festival ends.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s Sigrblot Festival ends on August 19th, so players have until then to complete all the activities and purchase all the rewards. Players can get these unique event rewards by buying them from the Festival Shop with Sigrblot Tokens, which in turn are earned from competing in various events. Many of the staples from previous Assassin’s Creed Valhalla festivals return, but there are also new events and quests to take on that keep things fresh. Players will need a lot of Sigrblot Tokens if they want to purchase everything, so the sooner they get started the better.
As previously mentioned, the Sigrblot Festival is particularly special because it introduces an entirely new feature, one-handed swords. Although there are more scheduled to be added to the game with the Siege of Paris DLC, players can get Assassin’s Creed Valhalla‘s first one-handed sword by participating in the festival. It is one of the many items that can be purchased from the festival shop, and will run for 300 Sigrblot Tokens. One of the fastest ways to get this many tokens is to compete in the Sigrblot Festival’s version of the tournament.
With almost three weeks of time to enjoy the festival, players should have more than enough time to complete quests, defeat Ake in a Flyting duel, and get everything before it ends. Nonetheless, as August 19th gets ever closer, it’s important that players take stock in which rewards they haven’t yet earned and what’s important to them.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
