xbox Series X – PSA: Microsoft Flight Simulator Has An Immediate 27GB Update For Xbox Series X, Series S

If you were hoping to start playing Microsoft Flight Simulator on Xbox Series X and Series S as soon as possible, we’ve got some bad news, as Asobo Studio has pushed out an immediate 27GB update for the game.

You’ll need to download this before you can start playing Flight Sim in any fashion, as even the offline mode requires you to have been connected to the internet at least once before you can turn it on. Sad times!

We’re assuming there are no other downloads aside from the 27GB update, and hopefully the servers will be able to cope with the immense demand that will be placed on them this evening. What’s a flight without a delay, eh?
