We’re not short of Lovecraftian tales on Xbox, but decades on from their glory years, there aren’t many text-based adventures present. That changes today as The Innsmouth Case begins to unfold on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S with full Xbox Play Anywhere support too.

Available to purchase and download right now on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, The Innsmouth Case combines horror, comedy and good old text adventuring as one, taking players off on a journey that promises to be harrowing, humorous and utterly fantastical.

It tells the tale of the disappearance of one Tabitha Marsh from the town of Innsmouth. With more than 20 folk to spend time chatting to, as you try to get a grip on the mystery of Tabitha, it’ll be your decision making which is key throughout.
