Chinese technology giant Xiaomi is reportedly setting up its smartphone assembly plant in Pakistan, which will help create employment opportunities as well as make smartphones more accessible to people across the country.
According to the details, Xiaomi is planning to set up the local assembly plant in the country in three to four months time. Xiaomi is one of the largest smartphone manufacturers in the world and also deals in a range of accessories and AIoT products.

The development comes shortly after Realme, another major player in the smartphone and AIOT products, announced setting up its smartphone manufacturing plant in Lahore.
This has resulted in a massive price cut for the brand’s smartphone model (C21) being manufactured in the country and if Xiaomi is successful with setting up its own assembly plant in Pakistan, we can except similar results when it comes to company’s smartphone prices.
