Fortnite – More Street Fighter characters are headed to Fortnite, find out who will be in the crossover later today
Sagat and T. Hawk might finally get guns…
Today is a big day for Street Fighter 5 as we excitedly await the incoming content to be showcased on the Summer Update stream, but two of Capcom’s famous fighters are also heading outside of their usual universe to participate in an upcoming Fortnite event.
Social media managers for the massively popular battle royale game made a breadcrumbs post earlier today showing the character select screen for Super Street Fighter 2: The New Challengers with the caption, “Here comes two new challengers!”
Ryu and Chun-Li, perhaps the two most recognizable Street Fighter avatars, made a limited Fortnite appearance back in February. It seems this crossover was decently successful as they appear to be rinsing and repeating with two fresh faces.
The Street Fighter Twitter also chimed in to further clarify that the identities of these two will be unveiled during today’s Summer Update stream.
Who could they be? 👀

If the term “new” is an intentional part of the puzzle here, it’s likely referring to the four new roster members who were added for this particular SF2 update: Cammy, Dee Jay, T. Hawk, and Fei-Long. If popularity is a factor, Cammy is almost certainly a lock here, and our second guess would be the Bruce Lee-like Fei-Long as the other.
The Fortnite Battle Bus is hovering over the character select screen world map, and specifically covering parts of Europe en route to the U.S.S.R. It’s closest to England (where Cammy’s stage is located) making us further believe the Killer Bee will be one of the two Fortnite newcomers.
